[ ALTHEA X NAKEUP FACE ] NAKEUP FACE MAKEUP SET & REVIEW

When it comes to beauty boxes, the first brand or distributors would pop-up on my mind is Althea, followed by our local brand. This is not the first product I purchased from Althea, but this is the first beauty box with fields of one bran makeup with full-size. Today's blog post I'll be sharing the simple looks I made using Nakeup Face products and of course reviews.

NAKED FACE is a Korean cosmetics aiming to improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity with “naked face” and “no makeup” looks. The brands believe that the confidence comes from natural beauty rather than cosmetics and provides a  various range of makeup and skincare products. This brand is not familiar to me and I can't believe that there's a lot of Korean cosmetics brand exist that you can find in Althea. 

NAKED FACE COVERKING POWDER CUSHION SPF 50+ PA+++

The cushion claims to cover all your blemish, pores, and wrinkles with 3 cover layering system at one touch all kill. The products come in 15g with SPF 50+ PA+++. The beautiful rose gold case with a touch of spring catch my attention and makes me happy when I received the products. It also provides a long-lasting coverage with 19hours without any crumping or erasing. Well, I do not agree with that, buy the way I am a Filipina and I live in a humid country which cushion doesn't give us a power of long-lasting. But, I am giving it a try because I really wanted to have a cushion and Makeup Face is the right pick.

 

The products comes in three shades which are; #21 Velvet Cover, for brighten skin. #22 Silky Cover, For calm skin tone and makes the skin looks clear. #23 Air Cover, for natural and healthy skin look. Most Filipina choose the #23 shade for all the cushion Korean brand because this is the darker shade of Korean skin tone and believe me or not It's not for us. We all have a different skin tone and it's up to you if you'll give it a try. I have oily skin, so I am expecting that the longevity promise won't work on my skin.

Before & After

As you can see the shades is too light for my skin tone, but once the lights are off the natural shade will show in this photo. I love how it suite on my oily skin, it gives a natural glow concealed my blemishes. While applying the cushion powder onto my face I noticed that it has a normal smell of cosmetics upon opening the products. The scent is bearable and not too strong, it's like a flower and I don't like that smell but it dades off quickly after application.

Overall: I love the performance of this cushion powder, though it doesn't give me 19hours long lasting effects as its promise, because I already have oily skin and I live in a tropical country. But the cushion itself is perfect for simple and no makeup look and for those who are want to try a cushion. I'm sure this cushion is effective only in Korea or Japan who has a cold weather. Plus, it's really affordable.

 

NAKEUP FACE SELF BIG EYE EYELINER

The 2mm super-slim pencil type eyeliner that helps you to draw a finest and sharpest line. The product has creamy gel formula that helps you to apply easily and smudges the smear free with the quick-drying pencil.

Since I am not used to putting an eyeliner everyday I am amazed how the products claim as smudge proof and contain a high-performance waterproof polymer. It comes in four shades, seriously? #04 Deep Brown, a deep and tender espresso brown which what I got. #05 Chick Black, A dark black just like an actress on the red carpet. #06 Vintage Marsala, An elegant and warm, I like this shade it can be used as eyeshadow. #07 Golden Khaki, the green, mysterious and ethereal, golden glitter khaki eyeliner. Its nice for having different shades of eyeliner, this would be perfect for any type of skin who loves to experiment on their eye.

The packaging is nice and simple but the product itself is too weak and hard to retract for you to be able to see the amount of product. It happens that the pencil break in but the pigmentation is good a little goes a long way. 

Overall, I like the shades and the way I apply it to my liner. It is truly smudge proof and long lasting.

NAKEUP FACE C-CLUP DEEP CALM MASCARA

A 12mm long lash and Glamorous doll lashes with perfect volume, It comes with two shade which is Black and Brown (which I got). I love the packaging, the combination of silver and red its give more sophisticated looks. The bristle is normal and its create clear strong color and enchanting deep eyelashes.  I super love this one and I see my self-wearing this every day.

 

One thing I noticed is about the price. It's too expensive for the mascara only but the performance is good.

NAKEUP FACE NAKED EYE SHADOW

This 3 Naked Eyeshadow with 3 different lines which are; Shading, Shimmer, Glitter. I got the Shimmer in the shade No. 11 Mary Me. I really love it. Its give you mysterious and ethereal looks. This is perfect you are want to achieve the Korean makeup looks, they love the shimmer of the eyelid after the eyeshadows. I applied Naked Eye Shadow Shimmer on the top of my favorite eyeshadow.

 

NAKEUP FACE VELVET SCANDAL

A plush and pumping special powder gives you a light and smooth finish. The product has Rose Hip Oil, Grape Seed Oil and other plant components that helps to moisture for a longer period.

The power cushions formula and creates a protective moisturizing layer. It's not only a moisture on the outside, but helps the moisture penetrate deep down and making your lips softer than ever. It comes with three scandal shades which are; #1 Nude Scandal, #2 Wedding Scandal, and the last and what I got is the #3 Kiss Scandal. It's pigmented and opaque, you can create a girly gradients lips which is trends nowadays, or with full plump lips.

You can also use it as a blusher it's up to you. I've noticed that some of Nakeup Face products have a smell. This one has a fruity smell, I can taste it as well. The texture is creamy and it's not transfer proof. 

Overall, I love the shade its perfect on my skin tone, I like how it turned powdery after it dries out on my lips. This Velvel Scandal Lipstick is long lasting as well.

Overall, I am satisfied with this Nakeup Face Beauty Set. I really love all of them and the shades I got, mostly the performance of each product. It's really worth the price. This is really recommended for those who are want to try a Korean makeup on a budget.
