First of all. I really don't like the smell, but it goes away once it dry on your skin. BUT, the drying portion is powerful and very true. I used it not just on my face when I have acne, but also on the sensitive part of my body where I also got acne and it's dried overnight.
Overall, this drying potion is very effective but I haven't tried it on cystic pimples.
