Ellana Cosmetic is kind of expensive since they are the first local mineral cosmetics brand here in the Philippines. The brand is known for its cruelty-free and 100% vegan their best seller is Lip in Luxe Liquid Lipstick they have a lot of shades and I bought the Love is forever and Love is a Gift.
My first purchase was the Powder Foundation in the shade Hazelnut, it was a great powder with a high amount of coverage, I didn't have a chance to review it since I always used the powder, now I am trying their Lip in Luxe liquid lipstick.
The Packaging
The Lip in Luxe packaging is really artistic, and when it comes on the packaging itself is very luxurious looks with a clear tube and white cap with floral print which I really like it. There's no description in the box either on the website but the products claim that it is a creamy matte, smudge-proof and water-proof. It has a normal and angle doe-foot applicator, enough size to get a nice amount of liquid lipstick, also it gives you a nice application.
Love is a Gift - This is the shade is my favorite and this is the kind of color I always pick whenever I buy a lipstick. It's pigmented and perfect for Asian skin tone.
Love is Forever - Something brown and cool tone red shade that I would totally use on a party or and any occasion will fit in.

On my first try, I feel disappointment on the "creamy matte" part because its not, yes the liquid lipstick is creamy but its really fast dry once the product applied on your lips and the definition of "cream" for me is something you can blend the liquid lipstick even if its matte, the best example is Maybelline creamy matte lipstick. YES! is it smudge-proof and waterproof, it doesn't transfer at all. This is the kind of Liquid Lipstick that I won't use for every day because I find it drying, but the good thing about this are very lightweight and even if you stretch your lips it doesn't crack and very long-lasting.
Wearing it for almost 3-4 hours, the lipstick stays on the edge of my lips and faded on the center part, but the color is still opaque.
I love their shade range, and I am hoping that they come up a real creamy matte edition of this liquid lipstick in the future, something velvet, hydrating and healthy on the lips. If you are asking me if I should use this? Yes, I still use it but not on every day maybe on the photoshoot because the shade is really nice on the camera. Love it. Also, I would love to try their primer, I have read a lot of nice review on that :)
